Las Vegas

This weekend Patrick, Audrey and I went to las vegas to visit with the Craftons. (okay lets admit the truth we went down for the football game) But seeing them was a major part of the reason to go to vegas. I would prefer to say that we went down to visit with family. So we are going to keep it at that. We went to vegas to visit with family.

The trip was a bunch of fun. We got there on friday and left on sunday. So it was not the longest trip in the world but it was good.

Audrey had so much fun visiting with her cousins. Tyler is only a month younger so they were able to play together. It was amazing to watch them. The tag teamed on a lot of things like exploring the kitchen and trying to knock over the gate. They are going to be great friends growing up. We just can't wait till Cosy is at the age where she can play with the two of them.

The football was great. Actually it was a little boring and annoying. The first quarter was fine. The whole start of the game thing, you know what I'm talking about. By the time the quarter was finished we were hungry and Lindsey and i had spent the entire quarter in line for food. Then during the third and fourth quarters we were on the look out for bouncing beach balls. (Seriously who brings a beach ball to a football game.) I chanted more for the balls to pop than for BYU's team. Sad!!! eventually the balls all fell to the field and were popped by security guards and by that time the game was pretty much a landslide victory for BYU that it was still boring. At least i had Lindsey to complain about stuff with. :)

All in all it was a great trip and we hope that we can visit the crafton family very very soon.

Tooth

Audrey has a tooth. She didn't have it saturday but she did have it yesterday. Photo will be coming soon. I'm so excited. A Tooth!

It's Been a While

Sorry that it has been so long since I have written anything on the blog. Just want to update you on a few things.

We had a safe trip to california even though it was not the greatest trip. We did have fun seeing great grandma Cannon. And that is always a treat no matter what.

Patrick and I arrived at grandmas at about midnight on Thursday. And then spent Friday cruising around southern California. Patrick had never been to southern california and wanted to see all the sights. I got really really bored because when you have brought 3 people to california and they want to see all the cool things you knid of get bored of all the stuff. It was fun. I just felt bad that I didn't really want to run around the city of L.A. We did see the beach and spent some time in Malibu. We ate at this amazing Italian restaurant. If Malibu was not outside we would have sworn we were back in italy. For me that was the highlight of the trip considering what happened next. ]

To start Audrey started not feeling well. She was coughing and had a runny nose and a slight fever. Don't worry the fever did not last long and there was nothing to worry about. Then I got sick. That was a bunch of fun. I was tossing my cookies the entire night before the game. Because I did not feel very good the day of the game. (after being up all night) I missed my chance to go to the rose bowl and see BYU play. Great Grandma, Audrey and I had a great time together. We watched the game and was in the very comfortable house while everyone else was at the hot game.

Sunday I spend the majority of the time in bed. But could not spend the entire day there because we were leaving that day. On our way to the Airport mom started to not feel well. And then spent to flight to Las Vegas Tossing her cookies. In Vegas they kicked mom off the flight and Patrick, Mom, Audrey and I spent the night in Las Vegas. To top it off that was the night the VMA's were going on at the palms and there were a lot of people there. The Luxor was out of rooms but we did get a room at the Excalibur. Mom was grateful for a somewhat comfortable bed.

Monday was Our 2 year anniversary. That was a great was to spend the day. In Vegas! Patrick now gets to boast that he took me to Vegas for our anniversary. But since i was not feeling the greatest yet and Patrick seemed to be getting sick we didn't wander far. He did get me a really pretty pearl necklace. That was nice.
After an 24 hour delay in Vegas we finally made it home. We were all happy to be sleeping in our own beds after that.
