Long time

Wow

It's been a while since i last posted

A couple of things have happened in the last little while. (and i have pictures to prove it!)

A few weeks ago we decided to take a trip to the dinosaur museum at thanks giving point. It was a really cool place. very kid friendly. I think audrey was a little too young for the museum but she had fun looking at everything. We really didn't spend anytime reading anything about the different periods audrey wasn't going to sit still long enough but we at least got to look and point things out to her.

At the museum they had several workstations for kids to play with things. Audrey really only appreciated one of the workstations. At this particular station she was able to dress up like a dinosaur and then she was able to play with a big cut out puzzle game where she needed to find the right hole to fit the dinosaur through. She wasn't actually finding the right hole but i was surprised with how many dinosaurs she was able to fit into the one hole she was focused on. It was really interesting to watch. She had to twist the different dinosaurs to fit into her hole and she was able to get everyone of them through the one hole. leave it to my kid to be the one to cheat at a puzzle game. I think that was one of her favorite places. Actually i think she threw a tantrum when we decided to leave. Yes, the terrible two's hit early. (yesterday at church she threw 5 tantrums in 5 minutes. one of them was because i wouldn't let her run into the street. We went home. We were at church for 60 minutes or so and i have no idea what was being said at the pulpit because she was so crazy. at least we got the sacrament.)

anyway back to the story.

There was a sand and water workstation where you build damns and then build your valley and then destroy the damn and watch the water destroy your valley. I thought it was cool. Audrey on the other hand didn't like all the sand and how it got her dirty. She's fine getting spaghetti sauce all over her but heaven forbid she gets sand on her hands.

We had fun and suggest the trip to the museum if anyone is looking for something to do this summer.

We really have not done too much the last few weeks because of playoffs. The pistons and the red wings.

Stupid Pistons!

Yeah Red Wings! Last week they won their 11th Stanley cup! Patrick was really excited and wanted to fly out to Detroit to participate in the celebration. like we have the money for that! Really!

Patrick says that he has come to terms with the pistons loss because he wants to see some change. since they lost they have fired their coach and are looking at other players. I just don't want to see Hamilton and Prince go. Everyone else can. ( I shouldn't even know names like that! I blame Patrick and for being such a sports nut. he is the only person i know who's moods are based only on sports teams. yes, it's true if his team loses he is in a fowl mood for the remainder of the day and maybe the next two. heaven forbid that there be a better team out there. I've decided not to be with him during this years upcoming BYU Utah game. I think i might just have to kick him out for a week if they lose. I call his condition sports-polar)

let me think what else has happened?

Carrie and Nate's wedding. But I'll talk about that later.

Elizabeth :)

Las Vegas Pictures

nice face Kaylee

In time out for biting

Smart Car

We saw these all over Italy last spring. I thought that they were the coolest things in the world. recently we have been seeing them pop up around the valley. This was the first one that i saw in a parking lot. So i decided that we needed to stop and take a picture of it.

Las Vegas

Yet again Patrick and i made the journey to Las Vegas to visit Lindsey and Brice. It was bunch of fun.

We left Saturday morning around 5:30 and got to Vegas between 10 and 11. I'm not entirely sure because when we finally rolled into town the whole family was at Kaylee's soccer game and so we went and met them at the soccer park first. (Go Dragonflies!) thank goodness for little league. I think we were their for about and hour.

I'm sure no one will believe me when i say that the weather was pretty much perfect in Vegas. It could not have been hotter than the mid nineties. Much better than our very very cold 45 and 50's. (so much for Global Warming)

Any who like i said we had a ton of fun it was my kind of weekend. We sat in front of the tv and ate. It was very nice and relaxing. But we did do a few things. Lindsey and I found a way to get off our rears and go and get some take out. What a way to be even more lazy. Order on the phone get in the car and go get it. come home sit back in the same warm spot and eat. it was Awesome. too bad the restaurant we went to did not have curb side service.

Some other things we did were...going to the park, going and getting ice cream and going to Pets Mart to see the animal. Audrey and Tyler really loved looking at the fish. And Lindsey and i amused ourselves by tapping on the fish tanks and watching the fish scurry. I know it's mean but it was fun. :)

Like I said the rest of the time was spent in front of the t.v. Lindsey and i did have the opportunity to watch P.S. I love you on PPV. but we had to go upstairs because heaven knows the earth will be destroyed if the boys did not get to see their games. I say games because they watched several that day.

When we got to Vegas we were joking with Brice and Lindsey about using their kids as guinea pigs so that we could catch Audrey in the act of biting and so that we can properly discipline her. mind you we were only joking but she really really did bit them. All the time. she didn't bit on Monday morning but she was tearing flesh on Saturday and Sunday. I was getting so mad and embarrassed. I feel so horrible about it. I'm sure Lindsey and Brice are not happy with us.

Really what am i supposed to do? she is only 16 months old. but I still feel bad. Sorry guys. I mean she left so major marks. She bruised Kaylee pretty bad and she also gave Tyler a bruise.

Hopefully Audrey finally understood us because man would we get mad at her. I just hope the biting thing is almost over. I just hope that they decide to invite us back with our little vampire.

I'm taking up too much of your time.

Loves,
Elizabeth, Patrick and The Count Dracula
