Blessing. Another One?

Yesterday Patrick had the opportunity to bless his niece Cozy. It was a wonderful blessing. I think that Patrick did an amazing job. I know that he was really really nervous about the blessing and thought about it for a long time. He put a lot of effort into it and i am proud that he was so willing to do such an amazing thing for his niece. Andy, Gretchen and the boys were there. It was nice to see them. We just wish that brice and lindsey would have been able to come. It would have been fun to see everyone. hopefully they can come up soon. Anyways that is all that i have for the day.

Love ya

Halloween

Poor Audrey!

Halloween was not the most exciting thing for her. Actually the entire week has not been the best for her. It all started on Sunday night. She was being a grump and we just thought it was teething so patrick had to run to the store and get orajel because we could not find the one we already had (still can't find it by the way). on monday and tuesday the poor little thing had a fever between 100-102 off and on. And then on wednesday (Halloween patrick clocked her fever at 103) We decided that we needed to take her to the doctor. (Yes, We should have done it earlier but since the fever was on and off we figured it was related to teething.) At the doctors office the nurse had a reading of 105. Dr. Wynn gave found that the poor little one had an ear infection and was close to pneumonia. I guess there her chest should make a certain noise when she breaths but he couldn't hear it. He told us to watch her and see if the symptoms continue. If they remained we needed to take her back on Friday(today). Patrick left with a bunch of tylenol and a prescription for her ear.

I am happy to report that the little one is doing great. The fever went away that evening and the little one is happily taking her medication for the ear infection. I think she actually likes the medication. It has a sweet taste to it.

Anyways that is how we spent audreys first halloween. At the doctors with a 105 fever. I just happy that she didn't have pneumonia and that she didn't have to be hospitalized. (yes, that is a thought that went through my mind that day)

We were going to go to Karen for the holiday and knock on a few doors with her cousin cozy. Audrey will just have to wait till sunday to see her cousins when cozy gets blessed.

Hope to hear from everyone soon.

Loves,
Elizabeth, Patrick, and Audrey

Las Vegas

This weekend Patrick, Audrey and I went to las vegas to visit with the Craftons. (okay lets admit the truth we went down for the football game) But seeing them was a major part of the reason to go to vegas. I would prefer to say that we went down to visit with family. So we are going to keep it at that. We went to vegas to visit with family.

The trip was a bunch of fun. We got there on friday and left on sunday. So it was not the longest trip in the world but it was good.

Audrey had so much fun visiting with her cousins. Tyler is only a month younger so they were able to play together. It was amazing to watch them. The tag teamed on a lot of things like exploring the kitchen and trying to knock over the gate. They are going to be great friends growing up. We just can't wait till Cosy is at the age where she can play with the two of them.

The football was great. Actually it was a little boring and annoying. The first quarter was fine. The whole start of the game thing, you know what I'm talking about. By the time the quarter was finished we were hungry and Lindsey and i had spent the entire quarter in line for food. Then during the third and fourth quarters we were on the look out for bouncing beach balls. (Seriously who brings a beach ball to a football game.) I chanted more for the balls to pop than for BYU's team. Sad!!! eventually the balls all fell to the field and were popped by security guards and by that time the game was pretty much a landslide victory for BYU that it was still boring. At least i had Lindsey to complain about stuff with. :)

All in all it was a great trip and we hope that we can visit the crafton family very very soon.

Love,
Elizabeth, Patrick and Audrey
