has it really been 3 months?

I can't believe it's been three months. I am so not good at this. Sorry

I guess some things that have been going on with us since last time I posted.

For Thanksgiving we went to Mimi's Cafe with Mom and Patricks mom Karen. That was fun. I LOVE their food. 

At the end of november we went to Disneyworld with Dad and Veniece and that was just amazing. I loved that we were there for a week. I love Florida weather. Why can't I live there? It was 75 degrees every day. Just wonderful. Thanks again Dad and Veniece for the trip. It was rootin'-tootin wonderful.

Then it was Audrey's birthday and we threw her a Pirate party. She had a wonderful party and a really busy day. We did the party on Saturday the 17th of December and that was the day she has a Christmas performance in class, we had the Baylor vs BYU game and then the party. It was a super busy day.

I was so busy at the party that I didn't snap any pictures, Patrick did. She had a ton of fun playing with her friends. We played a few pirate themed games. We played musical islands, just like musical chairs but with an island that they jumped on. We played find the treasure - that was the hit of the party. I filled 2 bins with rice (sand) and buried treasure in the sand and they had a minute to find as much booty as they could. We played it several times. FYI don't play this game in the living room with carpet. It took like 2 weeks for me to get all the rice out of the carpet.

After that was Christmas. Not much I can say about Christmas. We stayed home and had a quiet day. AND again I didn't snap pictures. But patrick did. Thank goodness for Husbands. :)

Not much has happened since. We lead a pretty boring life. The only things we do are, work, dance and basketball games. We did just buy one of those Trafalga city passes. We're hoping that will give us some entertainment. We had been holding out because we didn't want to spend $150 for all three of us but a deal showed up this week that you could get them for $20 a piece. I liked the sound of $60 more than $150 so we got them. I think Audrey is really going to love seven peaks in the summer.

We're just getting ready for our little one to grace us with her presence. It looks like everything is going well. I still might be having a C-section (I was diagnosed with placenta previa at my 20 week ultrasound) We'll know when we get closer to the due date. I've had a second ultrasound to see if the placenta moved. They didn't get a clear shot of it, baby was in the way, so they still don't know if it's moved. I have another one scheduled for the 21st with a specialist. Hopefully they can see things better. 

I guess that's it for now.

Dance Videos, plus one more

Audrey started dance classes at the beginning of October. She LOVES it. I mean LOVES it. She is so attentive and tries so hard to do what is right.

The class age range is 5-7, but Audrey is not 5 yet which makes her the youngest in the class. I think the oldest girl in the class is pushing 8.

This first and second video is of her in her second week. It's the princess walk of the class. They go down the path and "perform" the things that they had been practicing. Every week the teacher adds more things to the princess walk.



At the end of the first video she goes to sleep and the next princess wakes her up. When she wakes up this is what she does next. She's doing bunny hops. (start in first position, jump over the hearts, and land in first position) This is her take on them. Remember it's her second week.



This is from the week of Halloween. They were all able to wear their costumes to class and they did a little Halloween dance. You really can't hear the music very well but it's still darling. Audrey is on the far right in the Rapunzel dress.



This is a preview of the classes Christmas dance. They are going to perform it in class in the coming weeks. It's the Chinese dance from the Nutcracker. Audrey is the one behind the pole, but you can see her is the mirror. Seeing her do this made me think that she would really really enjoy the Nutcracker. We are hoping to go in the next few weeks.

Halloween

I totally forgot that I didn't post about Halloween and our adventures during that month.

In September we bought Audrey costume. She wanted to be Rapunzel and if we didn't get it early we wouldn't be getting it at all. I originally thought that I was just going to make the costume but after looking at the pattern ($16.00) and looking at the fabric (about $25) and then the time that it would have taken to sew the dress (3-4 hours) the $45 from the Disney store wasn't sounding half bad.

We ended up getting her some light up shoes and the Rapunzel wig. I think the total for everything was like $65 or so. Not bad (at least I didn't think so).

About a week before Halloween Audrey was getting watched by Patricks mom and he decided he wanted to go to something haunted...we ended up going to the haunted forest in American Fork. In hindsight we should have payed the $5.00 extra to skip to the head of the line. We stood in line for over an hour and then the forest took over and hour to get through. It was a ton of fun and really funny.

*when I get in a scary situation I tend to start to giggle about it and I was just giggling the entire time.

You weren't allowed to touch the actors but there were a few times where they were so close to me that I wanted to reach out and tickle them. It was pretty great. I had never done the haunted forest before.

By the end of it we were pretty much done with the whole thing and felt that it was about 15 minutes too long. But we are old fogies and I bed the teenagers didn't think it was long enough.

On the Sunday before Halloween (the day before) we went over to my moms to carve pumpkins. Audrey of course wanted to carve a cat.

 

Audrey's is on the far right, mine is the jack, the happy face is Collins brother Justins, and the far left pumpkin is Katherine and Collins. By the time we got to Patricks pumpkin we were all carved out and never carved his. 

Hail to the King...pretty cool huh?

On Halloween we went trick or treating around the neighborhood and that was a ton of  fun. Here she is in her costume.

This past month we also got a piano here is Patrick and Audrey singing some church songs and Audrey singing making up her own words to the song.

It's a Girl

So baby number two is a little girl. We have no names picked out. Which is sad, so we'll have to figure it out soon. Here are some adorable pictures of our little monster who should grace us with her presence at the end of march/beginning of April.

She is measuring about a few days behind. I'm not worried about it because Audrey was petite. No 10 lbs babies for Lizzie (knock on wood).
