4th of July

Audrey's first 4th of July was very busy for such a little one. her day started out early waking up at 6:30 to be taken to grandma cannons to spend the morning with Aunt Katherine and Great Grandma Cannon watching the Provo Freedom Festival Grand Parade while Patrick and I were obligated to volunteer with Grandma Cannon. From my understanding they did not make it to the parade. They could not find a parking spot. But I'm sure she would have loved seeing all the bands and the floats. It was a very good parade.

The evening was spent at the stadium of fire. We got to see the group Brooks and Dunn. They were amazing. If I were into country I'm sure I would listen to them. Too bad I'm not. Audrey enjoyed seeing all the dancers preform on the football field. She could not keep her eyes off the dancers. It's a little hard when over 500 kids are dancing around the field. Not only did we get to see Brooks and Dunn we got to see Corbin Blue (Sp) sing and dance (he is the star of the hit TV movie High School Musical). He was actually very very good and fun to watch. Fred Willard was there as the MC. I think he is funny and enjoyed all his jokes. We also got to hear the popular radio host Glen Beck say a few words. I really enjoyed what he had to say. He was not there spewing off any political agenda. He was just there to enjoy our nations birthday. I have a lot of respect for him for doing that. And then there were the firework. Holy Cow were they amazing. Audrey loved every minute of them and just could not stop staring. we attempted to shield her ears but the noise didn't seem to bother her. it was really cute to watch her. She wanted to watch but she wanted to hold as tight as she could to her daddy.

All in all the 4th of July was a wonderful experience. Audrey had fun. Actually we all had fun.

Love, Elizabeth, Patrick and Audrey
