As you all know Haiti was hit hard by an earthquake last week. The Church has been doing some amazing things for the people there. I know it might not sound like much, since there are so many people who are hurt, but the few chapels that are in Haiti actually suffered little damage and the chapels, most of them, are being used to house nearly 4000 victims. The church also was able to send nearly 160,000 pounds of food and emergency resources to Haiti last week and they sent a team of medical doctors. I could go on...but if you want you can read more about it here. This is not at all to discredit all the hard work so many other organizations are doing. I think everyone is doing what they are capable of and that's what matters.
Which brings me to my real thought. I found out about this today while at work.
One of our employees is from Haiti. Last night he found out that his 4 year old daughter and the mother of his daughter died. My heart breaks for him. Please keep him and all of the victims in your hearts, minds and prayers.
