Valentines Day 2011

It seems to be a trend that any real special days are DUMB or that we can't really celebrate them too much or that I have these grand ideas but forget to do anything until the last minute and because of my extremely busy schedule I really waited til the last minute.

I'm not trying to make any excuses for my faults, but gosh dang it, this is getting tough. Why? Why did I ever decided to take 12 credits? So that I'll be done in August....that's why. UGH!

Anyway because I had an interview shoot on thursday, a broadcast on Friday, an interview shoot and a broadcast on Saturday.  I sort of forgot to get Patrick and Audrey a present. Plus all the bread was moldy - totally gross, by the way, we bought it on like Wednesday and by Saturday the entire thing was moldy and we leave the bread in the fridge for that very reason. I think it had to have been moldy when we bought it - and we ran out of something else that we needed for Monday so I made a Sunday Target run and took the opportunity to grab Patrick a movie - iRobot - we saw that on our first date where I saw a cat lady (ears, tail, whip and all) and laughed at her. Seriously is was funny she was meowing and cracking her whip. I laughed so hard and she was like 10 feet from me. Yeah, we made eye contact and I kept laughing. Patrick thought that she was going to do something. I was prepared to defend my laughter and wasn't. I digress.

I also got Audrey a hello kitty coloring book and hello kitty stickers. She was very excited about them and spent about 30 minutes coloring in it.

The reason it was dumb was because again for a special holiday Audrey was sick and I stayed home. Mom was still willing to watch Audrey so we were able to go out to eat. We decided to go to Tepanyaki - we try to make it there when it's a special day. It's such a fun place. There were two interesting things that happened that night 1. THIS guy came in. I really wanted to say something but I am always too scared to do it. I was secretly hoping that they would place them at our table. They didn't. 2. We were the oldest couple at our table - and I think the only ones married. I think there was one that was engaged but WOW and I'm not even THAT old.

I guess that's about it.
